How do you wire a horn when there is not a horn already in the truck?

what kind of horn? and are you trying to hook it up to a button mounted on the dash?

does the horn have one wire, two wires?

It is an eletric horn that says it can be hooked up with one or two wires. Yes I am tring to hook it up to a push button on the dash.

you can either run the ground wire to the battery or use the horn itself as teh ground.

then run a live wire from fuse box to your button and other side to the one wire on the horn.
