1986 Ford Bronco V6 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 685027 miles

Ford Bronco 2 XLT V6 1986 well once the truck is started it just over revs as if the petal is to the metal I just can't figure out what is making my truck do this. I really need some help so I could get back on the road.

Try disconnecting the accelerator cable, then move the throttle by hand, if it returns to normal idle, replace cable, if it dosent, check condition of the throttle and clean or repair it.
