1985 Ford Bronco fuel pump

could I replace the mechanical fuel pump with an electric one safely as it would be a lot less work to put in the electric pump than to replace the mechanical pump.

you cant do it without a kit to reduce the pressure of the fuel, if you dont it will get too much pressure and flood out the engine.
