my bronco II sat for about 6 years now the transmission wont go into gear forward or reverse it worked fine before what should i do

Hi there,
This sounds as if it has lock up a shift valve due to sitting around for so long, you can try just allowing the oil to circulate and warm up and attempt to select gears, but i feel it will be a job for a transmission specialist to remove the valve body and inspect for frozen valves.
