1984 Ford Bronco 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1984 ford bronco 2 I need to know if the fuel pump is in the gas tank it has an electronic one that has been put on the wheel well and it will not idle I just put a new carb. On it and think it is getting to much fuel it runs but will not idle

In 1984, the pump was electric and was mounted to the frame. In 1989, they changed to the intank style for the multiport injection.

Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Here is a "How To" for checking.

The video refers to fuel injection, but you will attach the gauge where the fuel line enters the carb.

I will try and move the pump, I will try to find the position of the original one on the frame, the pump is on the wheel well and only has about 15 in. Of hose from the pump to the carb. Whoever put this on did a patchwork job to it and it is connected with rubber lines
