LETS DO 2 THINGS
1ST SHOOT A 2 SECOND BURST OF STARTER FLUID DOWN THE CARB. CRANK IT OVER. WHAT HAPPENS?
IF IT SPIT AND SPUTTERED LIKE IT WANTS TO BUST OFF. STAY WHERE YOU ARE. REPORT BACK, PROBABLY NO NEED TO DO TEST #2
IF IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, EXCEPT "DRY "OVER AND OVERS"
PULL A SPARK PLUG WIRE OFF THE SPARK PLUG. ONE EZ TO GET TO. STICK A NAIL OR PAPERCLIP INSIDE THE "NOW EMPTY" BOOT, WEDGE IT IN BETWEEN THE METAL RING AND THE INSIDE OF THE RUBBER.
NOW HOLD THE WIRE (WITH PLIERS, IF YOU LIKE) SO THAT THE NAIL OR PAPERCLIP IS ABOUT A 1/4 INCH AWAY FROM SOMETHING THAT IS BARE METAL ON THE ENGINE.
HAVE YOUR PAL TURN THE ENGINE OVER WHILE YOU DO THIS. DO YOU GET A STRONG "POPPING" SPARK FROM THE NAIL TO THE ENGINE?
ANY HISTORY. MODIFICATIONS. WHAT ENGINE AND KIND OF CARB DO YOU HAVE?
WAITIN' ON YOU
