I'm at the point of pulling the passenger side cv joint out of the tranny but it hits a solid stop. The other end is already out of the wheel hub but it won't come out of the tranny. How does it pop out and how does the new one go in?

should pry right off/ put a block of wood for leverage and pry off the tranny. some have a "c" clip in the the joint holding it onto the tranny. you would have to cut the boot to get to it.
