1994 Ford Aspire stall when put in drive or reverse

1994 Ford Aspire will start and idle, but then stall when put in drive or reverse even sometimes I can put it in drive and move the car as long as I don't give it gas.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?
