Was losing power and stalling (complete shut off) occasionally while driving, if stopped at red lights especially after a long highway run. Would run fine for weeks and then stall again without apparent reason. A friend suggested a failing in-tank fuel pump, replaced it. The new pump primes and it seems ok, but engine wont even start now, it cranks and no go. Tried to hand spray fuel directely in trottle body, it starts and it runs as long as I keep spraying fuel, if I stop it dies, apparentely it is not getting fuel on it's own. I was able to reach operating temp by spraying fuel and the engine would stay running on it's on once hot, but only at idle, if I accelerate a little it dies again. (UPDATE) I changed so far: fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, PCV valve, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Air Bypass Valve, Ignition Coil, Fuel Pump Relay(s). Checked Spark OK. Fuel cutoff switch is reset. NO CHANGE. Checked if I get fuel out of pump and filter when cranking, lots of fuel coming out from both. What else can I do? Thank you a million.
