1998 ford aerostar, 194, 000 miles. While I was driving along, my battery light came on, then within a few min the battery guage that shows the power started to fall down indicating a lack of power, my lights went dim and when i turned on the highbeam headlights the speadomitor fell to "0" but i was still moving. I shut off the heater and the radio and then the speadomitor went back up again. The van finally shut off in my driveway, but an hour later I could start it again. What would cause this?
