1995 Ford Aerostar why my van just dies

I changed my alternater cuase I was told to. My battery needle is ok now.
but whether I drive I mile or at high at random my vanshuts down and I have to re-start it. Could I get some ideas and do I need to change my battery its probably worn out because of the alternater goin out

If the battery starts the car, chances are it's good. Here is what I need you to do. Take the van to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most stores will do it for free, so at least I'll have a starting point. To me it sounds like a sensor problem (MAP) but I need to be sure.
