1995 Ford Aerostar front wheel halfshafts

Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1995 Ford Aerostar Four Wheel Drive Automatic

installed new passenger side halfshaft. made sharp turn and halfshaft axle pulled out of outer CV joint. Motor mounts and front differential mount seem ok. Was the new halfshaft defective? Thanks, red

if it was pounded on when installed or shaken and schocked it could have released the clip on the insidecausing it to pull apart.

was it the proper part? some new oens are defective and can fall apart, but usually they do right away.

dont tighten axle nut with a impact driver
