I have a torn cv boot and need to replace it. I need to know 1) can I reuse the hub? 2) Are there different types of boots? 3) Is the axle two pieces? Can it be separated to slide the new boot on? 4) Will i need a special ring spreader or will I be able to use a screwdrive and pliers?-(I bet it depends on what ring is sent with the boot)

Yes, I'm female and haven't worked on cars much since high school. 25 yrs ago!
