I started having problems with my van going uphill on highways, specially above 60 miles per hour. The van tries to shift continuously when I give more gas in order to keep my speed. When I checked the transmission fluid, I noticed that it was above the full line. Is this causing my problem?

Hi:
I doubt that is the cause. However, I recommend getting it to the full level. Have the speed sensor checked on the trans.

I suctioned about a quarter of fluid out of the transmission before getting it no normal level, and took the car for a test. Believe it or not, the problem is gone completely. I don't have idea what the relationship of that was to the problem... but it is fixed now.
