1994 Ford Aerostar throele position sencer

Well I cant get the panel off of the floorboard (front and center under dash)so I can get the part ##S off of the old unit

Do you have the panel revealed? It may be underneath carpeting. The panel itself should be held on by 2 bolts towards the firewall. Then there will be 2 clamps tha thold the cover at the bottom. Remove those 2 clamps and the panel should come free.
