Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1994 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Rear end making noise. How do I add gear oil? Which years and models have rear ends that I could use as replacement? Can I convert this 4WD model to a manual transmission and retain the AWD function? Restated, can the Mazda M5od-R1 or the TK5 interface with the Dana TC28 transfer case?

There is a fill plug that is on the differential to add fluid. As far as the transmission, we recommend staying with direct fit replacement parts. Today's cars seem to have many new problems when you try to make changes.
