1994 Ford Aerostar Engine Sputter

When the engine is first started it will run fine for a few seconds. Then it will idle down and sputter; nearly shutting off, before recovering for about 30 seconds and repeating the cycle. Now the engine is skipping heavily.

Check fuel pump pressure. You can rent the tool at many of the nationally recognized parts stores.
