1993 Ford Aerostar making a light ticking noise

Yesterday my van started making a very light ticking noise when I started it up. The idle was a little rough and there was some hesitation. I thought that it sounded like a misfire. I changed the plugs a few months ago, so I thought it couldn't hurt to change the wires. I just finished changing the wires and the noise is still there.

IS the sound coming from he top of the engine? Could it be a lifter / rocker arm?
