1993 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i HAVE 1993 ford aerostar that when first started run rough but when engine comes to temp it idles high.when Ishut off and try to restart it will not.I changed fuel filter and vacuum lines with no success.also will not stay running while in gear.

has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?
