i need to know what needs to come off and what needs to be done step by step to replace the heater core in my 1993 ford areo star van im not good with mechinics but cant afford to pay for it to be done please help an idiot like me ok

Becareful on this, this isn't the easest thing to do for a non-mechanic. You'll need a manual which is available throught the link at the bottom of your post.

If you live in a region that does not require heat, you can by-pass it easily by joing the two heater hoses going into the core.
