1991 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 220000 miles

I HAVE AN OIL LEAK BETWEEN MY MOTOR AND TRANMISSION, BUT I CAN'T TELL IF IT'S COMING FROM THE REAR MAIN SEAL, OR THE REAR OIL PAN
GASKET. IS THERE ANYWAY TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

Mainly you should clean off all the oil with a rag then start the car and look to see where it is coming from, the oil could be coming from a differnent location and jjust leaking down there and collecting.
