1991 Ford Aerostar Loose steering

Just had my van fixed for rusted vacuum (something) because had a problem with van stalling, choking,then low idling and then fast idling. Then loose steering occurred (too much play on steering). Pl. tell me what to do. Tahnk u.

If the steering is loose, have you checked steering components such as tie rods, pitman arm, ball joints...?
