1990 Ford Aerostar Gas tank removal

I am havin a hard time removing the gas tank because the lil slip nut type things are breakin off an I can finish gettin the bolt out. I was wondering if yall had any suggestions on how to get those bolts out? Thank you.

Usually I cut the tank straps off with bolt cutters, I then install new ones when I put the tank back up.

The straps are cheap and are usualy rusted and it saves alot of time.
