1987 Ford Aerostar bolts on passenger side exhaust manifold

1987 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

is there a suggested method for getting at the bolts on the passenger side exhaust manifold? the ones at the top are rusted and the bolt heads are stripping.

Make sure you spray them with penetrating fluid a couple times and allow it to sit. After that, I usually lightly tap them with a brass hammar. Finally, make sure to use a 6 point socket so you don't strip the head. Keep in mind, it is common for them to break in the head. Then they are really a problem.
