My clutch makes a rattle and it's worn but whats specifily is the noise from?

Without taking it apart there is really no telling what the noise is it could even be inside the transmission.

I had the trans done awhile ago totally, I just thought it might be somethimg I haven't heard Thanks

I would still make sure the input shaft bearing on the transmission didn't fail.I would most likely the throw out bearing probably failed and is making noise.But again if you have noise coming from the clutch then you really need to get in there to see whats going on.
