Fluid leak

Went to have a simple oil change. They told me that I have a "severe fluid leak!" I asked where and they said they do not know that I have to have a computer diagnosis that costs $100.00. I do not have any leaks under my car, there is nothing where I park, completely dry. No weird sounds, car runs great, RPM's are normal. I documented my mileage going to work 13 miles and odometer matches. So, no gas problems, my temperature gauge is always normal. What do you think?

Hi,

A computer diagnosis will not tell you where a leak is. LOL I have no idea what they are talking about. Save your money.

Now, that doesn't mean there isn't a leak. Put a large piece of cardboard under the engine compartment and see if anything drips on it over night. Also, if you can, take a look under the vehicle for evidence of anything leaking. If possible, take a few pictures with your phone and upload them for me to see. If you are not seeing anything, it can't be too bad if there is a leak. Interestingly, they couldn't identify the fluid. That's interesting.

Let me know.
Joe
