My car has had a flat back right tire since Monday night...I went to start it just to make sure it still starts ( and it did) and it instantly filled my car with a burning smell and my car sounded like an old jalopy (or w/e you call it)....but no smoke from under the hood or the exhaust.

Need more info.

Burning smell as in Electrical? Smoke inside the car?

Any fault codes in any of the modules?

1.8L, 2.0L , 2.8L engine?

Did the jalopy sound go away? Was the engine running rough, If yes, did the engine start to run smooth
after a little while?

If no, was there a lot of moisture in the air? Raining?

Could have just been noisy hydraulic lifters... try to record it with your cellphone and post the video
on youtube (free), then we can look and take a more educated guess.
