Flashing Overdrive light after cable replacement?

300,000 MILES • 2.8L • V6 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

The shifter cable was replaced and since the speedometer and odometer are not working, the OD light is flashing, noticed a delay in gear change. Transmission is rebuilt with less than 20,000 miles on it and never had an issue with it. Fluid is full. Help!

Update: problem resolved.

The person I had do the repair as I wasn't confident doing it unplugged what I assume is my VSS sensor. Plugged back in and running like a champ!
