Hey Ken, thanks for your help with everything. I'm trying to fix the speedometer, and cruise, anyway after I pull seats. I need the location of all grounds to make sure they are all good. And any info for fixing bad wires under seats hoping it's not the ECM please send links. Also, I need links for disabling sir system and anything else you think will help. Thank you very much.

Hi Dale,

Here is the ground and SIR wiring diagrams so you can see how they work and where the ground is, have you done CAN scan to see where the problems are? You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon for about $36.00.

Here is a video to show you how:

and

Amazon CAN scanner link for about $35.00.

This guide can help you check the connections:

Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Hi ken thanks again for the help for 2005 Cadillac CTS 3.6l Vin 7. On the ground locations can I get pictures with the names of the ground locations? The ones you sent are small and hard to read. Also, the color codes. The wires running under seats is there a several grounds? And how many will affect the speedometer, cruise, ect, ect? Those are the locations I'm hoping will fix this or do you all the grounds affect it? I appreciate your help. This car is a big pain with all these sensors. Thanks again

Hi Ken, thanks for answer to last question. The diagrams of ground locations are fine, but can I get pictures with the names of ground locations from under hood, under dash, and under seats, etc, and any other locations that I should check? Also, wire color codes need. All the sensors on this car make it a giant pain. I couldn't afford to have a shop check all of this so thank you very much for your help and if you have any suggestions or more information that I need to check I would really appreciate it. Thank you again, have a good day.

Did you click on the images to enlarge them? Also, the colors of the wires and location are mentioned in the diagrams as well. Most of the ground wires are black.

Yes, are there pictures of the ground locations? Took it auto zone and had scanner hooked up. Trouble codes power train system-secondar DTCs-po573-00-brake switch circuit 1high voltage. Anti-lock brake system b3903, c0460-steering position sensor malfunction, c0461-steering position sensor range, u100-class 2 data link malfunction. The check engine light is off. Engine runs okay. Transmission shifts okay. Odometer reads 150000 + plus miles. Scanner reads 1385 miles. I can't afford to take to shop and pay for them to search for hours to find problem unless that' my last resort. I would appreciate your help, thanks.

It sounds like the traction control module is out, but it be sure let's do a CAN scan which is easy to do, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon for about $36.00.

As far as ground locations no pictures are available, you must use the diagrams and the locations that are mentioned. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
