Good morning,

It is nothing more than a code reader. It does nothing special at all. It does not tell you any failures of parts, it tells you codes that are an indication of a failed system.

Diagnostics and repairs still have to be done once the codes are identified.

You will save money by buying a standard code reader at any parts store.
