My 2007 56 plate EKALOS NEEDS A RECON ENGINE. ITS MY Dream car !! And I want to keep it AW! What do I do?? Scrap her or fit a recon engine. Idiot mechanic . NEVER PUT NO MOTOR oil in the first place.Grrr! My dream badgal motor!!!!!! I want to fix it and p/x the engin

The shop should pay for the repairs, but it's much more common to simply repair your engine. With no oil, you wouldn't have made it very far so a lot of the internal parts will still be okay. Most likely what is needed will be bearings, piston rings, and possible pistons and a crankshaft. The camshaft lobes should be checked for excessive wear too.
