1996 Fiat Uno Head gasket

I had to add water to the car regularly, thinking that one of the pipes had a leak. Then one day I checked my oil just to discover that the water and oil were mixed. I am not a mechanic and would therefor like to know how can I fix this problem?

Hi there,

I would say that the head or the head gasket has a leak, this is a complex job and if you wish to try and do it your self I would suggest that you get a work shop manual and read up on the section on head removal, then decide if you have the tooling and the knowledge to do this job, the head when off will have to be checked by a head machinist to repair any defects, get a manual and start there as it is far to complex an operation to try and set out here.
