2004 Fiat Stilo Two Wheel Drive Manual 67000 miles

hi i have a fiat stilo and lost my coded key, im using a standard key at the moment but my central locking doesnt work when i put key in drivers door so cant lock my car. is this a problem with my central locking or something less serious

you have to turn the key twice to lock/unlock all doors !!
