Engine Performance problem
2003 Fiat Stilo V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 44.000 miles

hi, my car has been giving me some troubles over the past few days. its started with occassional cutting out when i am waiting in traffic however i am able to start my car straight after and now its showing message 'engine foult' and slight smell occassionaly.I had my car checked by RAC and they did not find anything wrong. can u think of anything else

have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate the cause of the fault
