Computer problem
2002 Fiat Stilo Automatic 39000 miles

The Airbag light shows followed by a request on the dash to stop the engine. The car still drives without a problem (other than the air bag won't deploy if there's an accident presumably).
I wanted to know if there was a way I can get this light to go away and to stop giving me the message to stop the engine.
This happened when I was carrying my child in the front seat and so I turned off the passenger airbag. When I turned it back on again, this problem kicked in.
Even now when I turn it off again, I still get the error message.

Any Ideas?
