My son recently put petrol into his diesal engined car. He did not start the engine but called recovery, had the petrol drained and refuelled with diesel. Since then, he can drive ther car for about 10 minutes and as soon as the revs drop below about 2000 the car stalls. Most times he then cannot start his car for about 30-50 minutes. It will then start but stall again under the same conditions after about the same amount of time. He has had his fuel drained and refuelled again, biut the problem persists.
