2001 Fiat Punto overheating engine

i have just had the cylinder head gasket replaced on my 51 plate 1,2 litre punto, 3days after it has been done thye engine is overheating again and i am getting no heat from the fans. The engine is also over revving when it is in neutral when it should be below 1000 rpm.

Any ideas anyone????????

have the repair centre check the gasket is not leaking?
