Transmission problem
1999 Other Fiat Models Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Manual 180 00 miles

I have a knocking sound when I get to a bump or an uneven road .It sound like something is loose and the sounds is like a stone in an empty can.what could be the problem.what is the first thing that I should look at.
