Transmission problem
2005 Fiat Doblo Manual 70.000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
A fortnight ago i had my doblo in for a repair to gearbox. I was told that bearings were worn and needed replaced (fair enough) this cost me £600 approx. Now 2 weeks since repair i cant change into 4th gear . The same garage say now £61 for them to check it out and now £77.80 for 3 detent springs. Could this not have been picked up on before and should i still have to pay this. To me the whole matter stinks a bit. Your opinion would be appreciated.

Yes, they should stand behind their work and not charge you.
