FEM errors CD0420, CD0487, CD1410 and 801C60?

Those are FEM/ZGM communication faults, not normal engine codes. FEM is the Front Electronic Module, and ZGM/central gateway network functions.

The key clue is the group of codes together:

CD0487 — commonly points to ZGM/FEM FlexRay synchronization failed.
801C60 — commonly points to ZGM: No FlexRay initialization.
CD0420 / CD1410 — usually fall into the same family of module/network communication faults, where one module is not seeing the message it expects from another module.

I would treat this as a FlexRay/CAN communication problem, not as four separate failed modules. Make sure the battery is in good shape/voltage. Also, I would check all fuses to make sure none are popped. If these seem okay I would check for water damage and the wiring harnesses. The FEM is the Front Electronic Module might be bad which is common. Please let me know what you find.

Hi Ken. I need Can communication diagram for this model. The bloc modules list and location. CAs / Gate way / Fem location if possible.

This car has been in water and many damages to the wirings in certain areas. Just 9 modules appear on the network. WBAKR0107F0M68021

What ever happened on that Jeep we were working on?

Thank you so much, the problem is fixed using the diagrams you provided, saw short circuit with the communication lines and flexray lines were also corroded, several water damages which we replaced wiring. Car starts with no worries and drives smooth. Thanks to 2carpros. Great job
