I have been having some intermittent starting issues with the car. No fire, no clicking. Just the dashlights come on as I turn the key. Eventually it starts. I did some research and thought it was a bad ignition switch. I put a new one in. Now, when I go forward, it sounds like the front brakes are locking up...but not in reverse. No indications on the dash. It sounds like a anti theft thing. Can you help me.

I'm not sure what the ignition switch and brakes have to do with each other, but if you replaced the ignition switch, you need to program the vehicle to recognize the new key.
