Can a person remove the fan shroud and drive it that way?

Good morning,

The shroud needs to be installed. If you leave it out, the truck could overheat because the draw of cool air from in front of the radiator will be very low. Only hot air in the engine compartment will be left to cool the motor and it will cause it to run hot.
