Trying to get fan clutch off and it turns to left. I tried the shock and all but won’t come loose. have not tried the tool you can rent at local auto parts! Was wondering how well the tool works versus trying to take a hammer an adjustable to break it free. I don’t think I can get enough shock because clutch doesn’t have enough resistance. So just seeing if by holding fan hub with tool and the skinny wrench in clutch but if it will break loose. It seems on there pretty good.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, the tool works better. Usually it's a bit longer in length to give you added leverage. And yes, those suckers are on there! Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
