FAIL EMISSION CAUSE HIGH LEVEL OF NOX

Hi I was just if anyone can help I fail emission 3 time and need help to figure why
the first time I went I fail it for high CO level I went to get my o2 sensor change both and took it out for a second emission test and that time I fail it for high NOX level I went home and took my EGR valve out and went to a used auto parts and got a used one and clean it I put it in and went out to etest it again and it still fail cause of high NOX level but it was slightly lower then it was before by.100

my last thing to do is change out the catalytic converter but before I do I want to see what u guys thing before I start putting money into the cat

Used egr? Really? How do you know it is any good?

Most likely a cat converter. You need a new one, not used.

Yea I was just trying to see if the egr would change the Nox level I was in a money slump at the time but yea I was planning on buying a new CAT and don't want to spend money on a new cat if that weren't the problem but thanks for your help
