My car will not crank over, and I found the F15 Transmission Fuse 30amp keeps blowing when the TCM is plugged into transmission. Please help.

It sounds like one of the clutch actuators has shorted out, most people just replace both, but you can try one at a time, to be sure you can remove the wiring connectors and replace the fuse to see if it blows. Here is how the job is done. Make sure to lube the pivots and slides the best you can. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.

Hello, thanks for the quick response. I did as you instructed me to do. Everything tested okay. And wasn't getting that direct short any longer. Once I plugged the top actuator connector back in it immediately blew the fuse. What should be my next move on this focus?

Nice work, I have seen these cars have problems with the clutch system which is very common. I would try removing the clutch actuators and replacing them with new units, but it could be the dual clutch system has come apart and the actuators cannot move the throw-out bearing lever forks which will give you the same result. Make sure to lube the shafts and pivots the best you can while the actuators are removed.

Should my car still start with these disconnected? Because it won't crank over.

Will it crank with them connected? If so, then I guess not.

Let's install a breaker bar on the front of the engine to see if the engine can be turned over by hand.

I replaced the actuator and it's no longer blowing the transmission fuse. I also tried to turn the engine over with breaker bar and by installing a jumper wire in the fuse location and engine is free and cranks over no problem. I also noticed on my dash now when I shift the transmission it now reads the desired gear normally before it wouldn't show you that. Unfortunately, the car still will not crank over with the key please help.
