While driving the truck starts lurching and jerking?

Truck idles great as soon as you put it under load it starts lurching and jerking when you put it into gear. pulled fuel filter it was dirty.
Fuel pressure 20lbs. When at idle.
Then step on the gas fuel pressure drops, could it be fuel pump?

Hi,

The pressure is low. It should be around 35 psi with the engine off and a minimum of 30 at idle. See pics below.

To replace the pump, the fuel tank needs to be removed. To get you the correct directions, I need to know if the tank is metal or plastic.
