In drive vehicle will super tack wheels almost spin intermittent. Accelerating from a stop or braking is when this takes place.

Hi,
Do you mean the RPMs are very high when you accelerate? If that is the case, that sounds like the transmission is slipping. Is it possible for you to record what is happening and upload it for me to hear and see?

It's like someone's got their foot on the accelerator happens when the vehicle is in drive. From 650 RPMs to 3,000. Have to put in in neutral and kick it down...

Hi,
It does sound dangerous. Have you inspected the throttle cable for kinks, fraying, or anything that would prevent it from releasing?
The throttle cable runs from the throttle pedal to the throttle body under the hood. I attached a pic below. See if that cable is allowing the throttle to full release. Have a helper (with the engine off) press and release the throttle pedal while you watch for operation.
You will need to remove the plastic shield on top of the engine. Then, you will have access.
See pics 1 and 2 below and let me know what you find.

Checked throttle cable okay. Checked and cleaned throttle plate inspection of same revealed no issues. Will replace ICV whenever wallet allows. many thanks. Eric

If you want, you can service the idle air control valve. If you do it, make sure there is no corrosion or carbon build-up where it's mounted.
