I have a 1998 Ranger. Normal operations is when the Fog Light Switch is on and you turn on the high beams the Fog lights shut off and when you turn the high beams off the fog lights come back on. In my vehicle the Fog light relay under the hood burns out after turning on the high beams with the fog lights on. Then after the relay burns out the fog lights do not work and the high beams don't work either. If I pull the multifunction switch lever towards me and hold it the high beams do come on. If I move the lever forward the high beams do not work.
