Good evening,

Can you upload a picture so I see what you see?

I have poured through a few pics of a converter at several online auto parts stores that fit your truck.

None actually showed "studs", however, I can see where they could be installed in the flanges (if I am comparing apples to apples).

Without seeing exactly what you have, normally I would suggest attempting to drill and extract the old stud and replacing it with another.

If yours is like the ones I'm seeing at the online stores, extracting the old stud would really be more work than is necessary. The ones I'm seeing have no obstructions on the back side of the flange. Simply drilling all of the way through the broken studs with maybe a slightly larger drill bit would allow you to install a bolt and nut through both pieces to pull them back together.

Thunk this over, see if is feasible to do. I can't see your situation from here and it's possible I'm not fully understanding the situation.

A pic might aid us!

Your turn,

The Medic
