I know condensation is normal on exhaust, but this looks excessive. Should I be worried?

I should probably add that it’s been rainy the past couple of days. If that could contribute at all.

Hi,

What you are seeing is normal. The condensation, especially when cool and damp, can be more than expected.

If you noticed, there is a weep hole in the muffler where you see the drip. Its purpose is to allow water, which is a byproduct of the engine's combustion and condensation, to escape and slow the rusting process.

I feel if you allow it to run for approximately 10 minutes and drive it, that will stop and dry off.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
